K.,
I just moved to Rochester this month. I am also interested in meeting other moms. I don't know anyone here. My email is ____@____.com if you want to get in contact.
I was just wondering if anyone else is from Rochester? I would like to be able to get out sometimes and wanting to know if anyone knew of any mom and baby groups/clubs in the rochester area. Before my child was born I worked at a job where I was around the public everyday, I can't say that I miss it, but I do feel like I need to get out more and socialize with other adults. Thanks!

Hi I am a new mom in Rochester NW and I am starting a mommy party once a month. I will host a party where moms can get together and bring their new little ones if they like. I will have wonderful food and snacks, information about cloth diapers as well as examples of them, baby carriers, and a mom who does infant massage. It is just a time to gather and not have anything pushed on you. A great chance to meet new moms and discuss anything and everything. I have found that I really can't talk to my friends who don't have kids anymore they just don't understand how important things like how much my baby goes poo in a week are. Feel free to contact me if you would like to come. First meeting is August 15th. email me at ____@____.com
Look forward to meeting some of you ladies.
Thank you,
D.

There is several MOPS groups in town, they meet at Autumn Ridge Church, Berean Community Church, Christ Community Church and Rochester Assemblies of God Church. It is a fun morning and you get to met some great women. If you need more info just let me know.
I am from Rochester. The only parent and child activities I know about are through PAIIR (Parents are important in Rochester) They have some really neat classes available. The YMCA is always good place to spend time with kids too.
