Does anyone know of a mom and tot group or any program for the toddlers to do outdoor activites since the weather is breaking? Even indoor would befine. I have a 17 month old daughter that loves to get out and so does her mommy!!!Hahaha We are on the east side of the metro Detroit area.
Hey N., I just started attending MOMS Club in New Baltimore. The majority of attendees are 1-4 year old girls. They meet once a week either at the rec center (winter) or park. If you want to email me I can send you more information.
Mothers of Preschoolers OR MOPS is a great community... St. Peter's Lutheran Church, on Gratiot, has a group and the next meeting is Wednesday at 9am OR you bcan go to MOPS.org to find a group near you or at a more convient time.

I'm located in Shelby Township and belong to a group called MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers. We met at a local church twice a month during the school session and then during the summer months have a schedule to meet twice a month at local parks for playdates.
Everyone is invited and you don't have to belong to MOPS to partipate. I would suggest checking into a MOPS group to see if they have a similar arrangement in your area.

I am the assistant supervisor to the Fraser Aquatics program. It is a swim program for children and parents, adults and teens. We have swim lessons for child and parent or even children by themselves. I have my parents bring in my son when I am working so I can even use him as my live "demonstration" baby and he has a ball! He will be 22 months next week and has been swimming by himself (with a back float only) since he was 18 months old. Can't get him out of the pool..... it's a great bonding experience.
