Seeking Easy-going Mom's Group in McKinney Area

I am a member of the MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) Friday morning group at First Baptist in McKinney. We meet the 1st & 3rd fridays and we also have a Wednesday evening group that meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays. Please feel free to email me if you would like more info on our group or the Wednesday one. We have many sub groups that have started from our MOPs meetings such as cooking clubs, mom's nights out, playdates, walking groups etc.

Per the previous poster (Hi, Megan!), I am a member of Trinity's Heart to Heart MOPS, which meets the opposite Mondays as Hand in Hand MOPS. :) (They have 2 groups.) We'd love to have you join us as well if Hand in Hand's schedule doesn't meet your needs.

ALSO, I coordinate a playgroup in the area. I have 2 boys myself who are 3 1/2 and 1 1/2. I am quite sure that your son would fit in well. We meet weekly for fun things in the area - parks, water fun (summer), lunch gatherings, etc - and try to do Moms' Nights Out once a month or every other month. We have play groups, a babysitting co-op, a wide variety of field trips every month, adult socials, a book club for moms, all sorts of fun ways to meet other mommies and children. As some of the other moms have mentioned: www.meetup.com is a great place to find people with common interests in your area such as moms groups. I know it sounds like on-line dating, but I can really recommend it!
