Seeking Moms Groups in Wekiva Area

Hi D.. My practice is in the Wekiva area. (I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.) Anyway, I wanted to tell you though, we have a great mom's group in Seminole County through Baby Boot Camp. It's a workout where you bring your child with you, then the kids play afterwards. Plus we do a lot of other playdates and outings. It's a great group. We mostly meet in the Lake Mary area, but our moms are from Longwood, Lake Mary, Altamonte, Sanford, DeBary, Deltona, Deland, Heathrow & SOrrento. You can go online to www.babybootcamp.com to find more info. by the way, my daughter is about the same age as yours (21mos.) and most of the kids int he group are about that age, but we do have babies as young as 7 weeks and as old as 3 1/2.

Check out www.MOPS.org. It's a really terrific organization!

The library in Wekiva has a mon's group posted on the turning spindle to your left as you pass through the second set of doors to the inside. Also Annunciation Catholic Church has a mom's group, Fellowship for Moms, that is open to the whole community. I fyou are interested, email me back and I will send you the addresses.

I also have a couple of friends that head up other Mom's groups in this area. Respond back and I'll get you their emails. Hopefully you can find a group with children similiar ages...I know that always helps. Otherwise...I'm the same age as you...but my kids are a bit older than your little girl. Hello i don't know if you found a group by now! but i would recomend to go on www.meetup.com they have a bunch of playgroups so you can pick the one that is right for you. GOOD LUCK
