Seeking Good Gift Ideas for a 4 Year Old Girl

My daughter is going to be 4 this month and she loves the Polly Pockets and Littlest Pet Shop play sets, also dress-up clothes are always a hit with little girls!

A.; yes webkinz, or webkinz jr. they are stuffed animals that you canplay with them online in a very kid freindly atmostphere, jr is for that age, 3- 7 its fun and teaches them to care for the pet, and put them to sleep and take them to school etc, have fun

hit the dollar store and make her a craft box with all kinds of crafty items that they have there. New crayons and coloring books are always a hit. Little girls just can't seem to help themselves when it comes to making a mess! :o)

dress up items are always a hit! my daughter is 4 and has been playing dress up since about 2 1/2......she also loves crafty items & books....

I'm a big fan of books, puzzles, etc. -- NOTHING with batteries or junky plastic stuff that makes noise!! :) In fact, I always buy books for gifts. My 4YO daughter loves dress up clothes and leotards and tutus. I know that right now many Target stores are restocking their toy aisles, so you may be able to find something good there. My daughter is also crazy about Polly Pockets (check with the mom first-- some moms hate the little pieces these come with, especially if there's a younger sibling), and Barbies. Otherwise books and PJs are a great idea, as well as bath stuff. My daughter loves bath time.

Radio Shack has Hannah Montana Karoke machines with the microphone to sing in on sale for twenty bucks from seventy five right now. We got our daughter one and she and her friends sing on it everyday. They love it. It is affordable and engages them.

I have a 4 year old. she loves beads, not to make a neklace but she strings them then unstrings them then strings them for hours. Anything crafty. My DD also really loves "littlest pet shop"

I agree with the books. I love giving books as gifts, or gift cards to book stores. If there is a local/independent bookstore near you, shop there! Depending on where you are, go see the guy at Toys3 (Orchard Lake and Maple in West Bloomfield). He always has great suggestions for gifts for kids of any age.

I think books and pjs are always a good idea.
