I have been with this one pediatrician for about 6yrs and I have finally had enough with his office. I need a good pediatrician that is great with the kids. I am also looking for one that is on time and fast. It would also be nice if they know how to file your insurance correctly the first time. LOL I been going to the acute urgent care for this whole year with my kids, because they are so awesome. They file insurance the right way, therefore we never have any surprise bills. I am asking you guys because I want to see what everyone has to say so it will be easier to make my choice. Thanks in advance everyone!
IF she is accepting new patients I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bain in Frisco.....I gratefully drive from McKinney to her. She is truly holistic and makes you feel like a member of your child's healthcare team....can't say enough good.
We havw been using Physicians for Children for the last year. Dr Wisler is awesome!! They are in located near 75 and 380, Kinda behind the Braums. You can get to them from the 75 access, or from 380. Their phone number is ###-###-####.
I have had my 5 y/o nephew to my 17 y/o daughter in to see her. I just wish she took care of adults...

I have been going to Dr. Paul Reyes and he was at the Mckinney hospital. He has joined with Dr. Jeffery Alvis at Stonebridge Pediatrics, and they are great. They file quick to insurance and I have not had any problems with them since I have been there. I can get in the same day and I also was at an office in McKinney (Dr. Burton) and I had to wait and wait, never on time, this place is really good and on time, I mean you may have 5 min or so, and if you get there early they will get you back if they can! good luck on your search!
We love ABC Pediatrics, we see Dr. Suzanne Dugopowski she is really great! Her office is on time, you do not wait forever and she is wonderful with my daughter. We have never had any insurance issues. She is also very good about getting them in the same day and quickly for sick visits when you call. They also have Saturday hours. She is located on Virginia near Hardin.
Good luck! We too had to switch pediatricians, but a long wait was just one of the MANY reasons. I wonder if it was the same pedi?
I use Pediatric Healthcare Associates in McKinney off of Eldorado and Hardin. I have used them for 13 yrs. Most of the time they can get you in the room quick. They are very good about getting you scheduled the same day. They file with our insurance before I pay them.

I'm actually surprised that your kidz still want to go to a pediatrician. Common for parents to think they need a Pediatrician, but they don't unless your kids have special medical conditions. Another misconception is urgent care centers. That is one of the most expensive ways to get care under an Emergency room. People with insurance don't care because they think they don't pay for it.
You should establish yourself with a Family doc. They manage the care of all the members in the family from one central location.
Insurance companies make it difficult for doctors offices to recoup their money. 90% of the time, the docs office isn't the one to blame.
