Hi there, I would like to change pediatricians due to the fact that where I take my daughter, they dont take walk-ins. I have to make an appointment in order for them to see her. I would like to find a good doctor who is great with kids and would be able to see her right away in case she gets sick. I would prefer a female doctor. :-)
I really like my office, Northwest Pediatrics. My doctor is Dr. Diane Jendrzey... she is sweet and attentive. It is an all female practice. I have seen 2 of the other doctors at the practice. Of course, they all seem to have their own unique personailities and personal philosophies. I have always been able to get care when I felt it was needed. Good Luck. I like to stay away from medical center area. I forgot the name of the center but it's a small office about 5 drs or so. It's on San Pedro 2 blocks away from Hildabrand. My son's dr is Dr. Shaylon Rettigg, also Steven Maxwell is great too. They are both great with the kids. They take walk ins. ###-###-#### is the number.
Hi Rachel. I live in the exact area of town as you do. I use Kellum Medical Group. But dont go to the Military or Marbach location. They are very busy and its hard to even get a walk-in. Instead we go tn the Nogalitos location. Its a brand new office. Lots of space. Very clean. We see Dr.Betty Ramos. She's great!! Listens to you, and works with you to find the best treatment for your child. The address is 3110 Nogalitos #105. ###-###-#### Hope this helps you out.
My son sees Dr. Raymond Ruenes at Medical Center Pediatrics. He has since he was born, excellent physician. They have a female doctor that works in the clinic named Dr. Garza. I don't know if they take walk-ins, but they always give me same day appts when my son is ill. Their phone # is ###-###-####. GOOD LUCK!

Dr. Rebecca Rocha-Davis is a great pediatrician and we always get in same day. There are a few doctors in her group and they are all fabulous. We just went thru some drama last week with my daughter and Dr Davis was out of town. Another doctor stepped in, took care of everything and even called on Saturday (when they were closed) to check on her.
