Our pediatrician currently has cancer and is undergoing chemo. We have since had to see the other pediatrician at the office and are not happy with the present pediatrician. Any ideas , references of pediatricians that you believe are very thorough, sweet and good doctors would be very helpful, thank you.

We use Dr. Rasmussen but all of the are excellent! They're even open on the weekends for their patients.
My daughter and I feel the same way about her boys pediatrican. His name is Dr. Walter Leon. He is on Matlock in Arlington a couple of blocks from 1-20. I have had 4 children and one of them deaf. I went thru lots of doctors with her until she was 3 that told me there was nothing wrong with her. Oh, I found a new doctor after we moved and I walked into his office and right out of the blue he asked me how long had she been deaf. There are some good doctors.. Dr. Leon is one of them. My grandson who has been having a lot of ear infections for most of his 5 year old life, started having behavior listening issues at his pre school. We took him to Dr. Leon to check for another ear infection and he basically couldn't hear because of this again. He referred us to the Audiologist and a specialist in Cook's and After we were able to clear up bouble ear infections. He had surgery to put tubes in and took out adnoids. He is doing great. This doctore cares a lot. I know I am my daughters support. I usually have to take him to doctor's visit so she can work. He also is caring for his 1 year old brother. His office # is ###-###-####. I absolutely love Dr.Raine. He is on Mitchell St. near UTA. My daughter is 11 now and has gone to him since he took the practice over from another doctor. We have seen him for approximately 9 years. She absolutely loves going to him. Good luck!
We use Dr. Wilfred Raine in Arlington. We have used him for the last 4yrs with my daughter and he is wonderful. He works under Cooks Children at 848 W. Mitchell his # is ###-###-####
we also use dr leons office, the drs and nurses are all wonderful!! we have been going there since my daughter was born , so more than 3 years now.. we also go quite frequently, my son is a special needs child and ends up going many times a month! they always get us in when needed
