Soon I am needing 2 hefty goys with a truck to go to my storage on NW MacArthur and 122nd street, load up the truck (which might take several trips, and then unload it all back to my home in Twin Oaks in North Edmond between Western and Penn off 178th. It will be a full days work. Among the larger items I have a small piano, a refridgerator, a hope chest, a desk and lots of filled, heavy boxes --- some fragile. I will pay generously for someone reliable and honest. I would like to get it done before June 1st. I will go with them, and work along side them. Got any ideas?

Our neighbors, My in-laws, & my husband & I all used 2 Fellas & a Big Vehicle. Here's the contact info: ###-###-#### & ###-###-####. They worked out good for us, and we had some large heavy items. Happy moving!

We used A-1 movers to help us with our last move. They moved us from and apartment and out of a storage unit. It took them 3 hour and cost 250 I think.

It seems like a good idea, but if you hire teen helpers, they won't be insured. Should they be injured moving items or if they should injure your belongings.

Look in the yellow pages for a local moving company. They will accept smaller jobs. They will have an enclosed truck - protect your stuff. And they will have insurance! Most charge a flat fee to come out and then by the hour. Hate to say it, but if you pay cash it will probably be less. As they do this type of work everyday, they will also get the job done and probably in 1 trip.

If you are willing to pay well, why not contact a moving company?
I think it would be safer, they provide the truck big enough to make one trip...depending on the size of the job they will send 2-4 men. If something happens to your stuff they probably have some sort of insurance. Whereras a couple guys off the street have no accountability to you whatsoever...they could load up your stuff and drive off never to be seen again. Not to mention complete strangers knowing where you live. At least the guys at a moving company would have an application on file and probably had to pass a background check. Think about your safety first.
