I'd recommended Dr. James Henry, or any of the doctors, at Glendale Pediatrics. They are the best.

I see that someone recommended Dr. Fleiss, who was our first pediatrician. We found that he is a very good doctor as long as there's nothing wrong with your child. He has difficulty listening to parents, and is more of a lecturer than partner in health. Even with our first child, who was fine, we felt that he wasn't listening to us. But what did we know? Plus, our baby was fine! But our second had tortocolis and her head was asymmetrical due to breech presentation, requiring a helmet and physical therapy. If left unchecked, there would have been a great chance that when she was older we would have had to get her jaw broken and reset. The shape of her head was obvious, we did our research, and went to Dr. Fleiss for a referral. He told us not to get a helmet, that no one will notice once her hair grows in. She also had reflux (she was diagnosed in London, where she was born) and was on medicine that WORKED. He took her off it, and the reflux came back. He also told me I was killing her with formula. Unlike my first baby, who I breastfed for 2 1/2 years, my second was bigger, hungrier, and I wasn't making enough milk. Thus formula. I've known a few women who've had issue with Dr. Fleiss over breastfeeding. We left Dr. Fleiss, got a recommendation from a friend for her ped (Dr. Henry) and the moment he saw our daughter, he said, "Oh, she's got tortocolis." With his help and support, her head is now perfect, she got the helmet, she got physical therapy. He spends as much time with you and your child as is needed, up to an hour once with us. He works with you as a partner in your child's health and well-being. He is gentle and kind without being condescending, and he knows his stuff! Congratulations on your soon-to-be new baby, may you have a quick and painfree delivery, and good luck on your doctor search.
