We just went to Sedona for the first time in Nov 2011 for a few days. We have friends that just moved to Phoenix. Sedona is the best vacation I think I have been on thus far. Gorgeous Gorgeous scenery! The four of us stayed in two suites at the Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa. Beautiful, comfortable accomodations (extremely comfy beds), nice restaurant on site and plenty of great ones nearby...we ate at several that were fantastic. The resort had nice pools (was too cold to swim) but the hot tubs were fabulous when it was about 45-50 degrees at night. The resort also has a complimentary wine tasting in the lobby. Service there was fantastic too! They seemed to have a really nice spa there as well, I didn't get to take advantage of that on this trip, but I certainly plan on going back! PM if you want any info on the restaurants we went to. We used trip advisor and ate at some of the best and enjoyed it!

A few years ago we stayed at Enchantment Resort and it was great. Rooms were nice, pools were great, and the area was beautiful.

The Enchanted Resort. They have a spa for pampering and massage, hiking trails, tennis courts and it is just secluded and beautiful. A little out of the main town, but just wonderful.

Oooh, I'm a Sedona Native so I'm very biased towards Sedona :)

If you're wanting the most romantic/private and luxurious, try Enchantment or L'Auberge. They are two of the nicest and most established, each with a very different "feel".

L'Auberge has a "French cottage" feel right on Oak Creek in "Uptown" Sedona. Very convenient but still private and tucked away.

Enchantment is much more remote and serene and is surrounded by beautiful scenery and amazing canyon walls.

Both have excellent restaurants and many amenities.

Otherwise it's pretty hard to find a "bad" place to stay in Sedona. Be sure to look at B&B options too.

Happy Anniversary and enjoy! (Message me if you want any other recs or more info!)

The place is called 'A Sunset Chateau'. We were married there, amazing views, fresh breakfast every morning.
We will definitely be going back.
