I have the greatest hairstyles and she is not far from you. She specializes in bob cuts. She went to extra education just to perfect the BOB CUT.

She is a stylist at JC Penny's in McHenry. Her name is Angela. She is the neatest lady. I followed her over to McHenry from the salon she was at in Woodstock. I drive over to have her do my cut and color. I am not a hairdresser but i will tell you I am very funny about my hair. I would never go to a clip joint. I check out a hairdressers education and learn where they have worked before.
She does not just chop away. She takes it nice a slow and really gives you the special service. And let me tell you she gives the best head massages when she is washing a rinsing your head. I just can't say enough about her. It will cost you about $35.00 for a wash, cut and style but it is well worth it.

My friend, Maud Jannin, is a very good stylist, who works with upscale clientele in the Gold Coast. She's also opened a new salon in Lakeview. The salon's name is Mon Ami Coiffeur. She is on the pricier side, but she is amazing. I like that she tells me what will look good on me when I ask (most hair stylists are either afraid to say or don't know), she's very confident, and last time I went I let her have her way with me, and it was great. I just recently started going to the Mario Tricoci University in Libertyville. The cost is about $12 per cut. I like it because you can't make an appt so I just go when I have time. They are really good too because they are still learning and they want you to be happy. The only catch is that they are a bit slow. I don't blame them, but make sure you have time when you go, it does take a bit longer than a stylist who is more experienced.

What suburb are you in/near?

I have the same haircut, and I got it at Great Clips. The stylist I see there is really great. I also go to Robert Allen Salon in Sugar Grove (next to Aurora) when I have money. They really know what they are doing. Good luck!

I have used Mary's Hair Gallery in Lake Villa. Mary does a great job and is always training and learning new techniques for styling. She does a great job.
I have also used Salon Sage in Trevor, WI. Sara is wonderful and I have never been disappointed.
