Hello!

Recently my 15 month-old son started showing tantrum. I would like to read the parenting book on Toddler. Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks,
A.

I like "What to Expect: the Toddler Years" since it covers many developmental areas and expectations.

Hi A.,

I am finishing up Positive Disipline for 0-3years (there are a series of books so be sure to get the first one). I have found it very informative and helpful for understanding my sons tantrums as a sign of communication frustration and not a manipulative tactic. Although I don't agree with everything in the book, the pyschology is sound and helpful for managing.
My husband liked Happiest Toddler on the Block and recommends that too.
Best of luck.

The love and logic series is excellent. I highly recommend it. Easy to Love Diffucult to Disipline is another book I've found helpful.

Hi A.,
I have really enjoyed all of John Rosemond's books. His book on toddlers is called "Making the Terrible Two's Terrific!" He offers some really common sense ways of approaching parenting. His methods have worked really well for me. I would also recommend his book "Parent Power" when your kids get a bit older.
I hope that helps!
Catherine
