I was wondering if any of you have done the Pumkinliners trip in Fillmore. It sounds like fun but not so cheap so I wanted to get an opinion first. Was it worth the dough? Thanks.

What can I do next?

We haven't done the Pumpkinliners trip in Fillmore but we have done the Thomas Trip and the trip to the Fish Hatchery in Fillmore. Pumpkinliners is probably similar. You're only on the train for a short time then do whatever activities they have.

I do think their trips are a little expensive. The kids really enjoyed the trips but my husband, my mother and I thought they weren't worth it - Thomas was a complete waste of money - but the Fish Hatchery was educational and they got to feed the fish. That being said, if the weather is nice, it's a nice drive to Fillmore and a nice day trip for the kids - something different to do.

I hope this helps...I guess it's worth checking out once to see if you like it... Have fun!

I did the pumpkin liner a few years ago when my daughter was 31/2. It was fun, but not worth the money. The train ride was short and the pumpkin patch was small.

We're going this weekend because it has come highly recommended from friends with kids 3-10 years old. I think cost wise, it's better than a lot of other activities out there.
