Help! I'm going nuts. Our Family bought a Historical home in Farmington Hills and I just love it here. BUT... all of my friends are 30-45 minutes away. I seem to be on the young side of all of my neighbors and the only one with a toddler. I need to socialize him. His siblings are 12 and 13 so He never has to share. He doesn't know how. He wont talk, because everyone does it for him. I know that If he is around other kids around his age group he will really excell. We are lucky enough that I only have to work part time and do not need daycare. Does anyone know of a group om mommies and or daddies that meet in this area, that isnt at the Library? We go there 3 times a month and he just plays by himself.
I joined the Farmington Hills moms club years ago, and it was wonderful. I met a great group of women, and we have all remained good friends even though we no longer remain part of the group. They have playgroups, outings, speakers, etc. The children have grown up together and are good friends. Check it out. It is a young group of women with young children.

As the other ladies said-check out The Farmington Area Moms Club! It's a great group and I've met so many other moms and found out about so many fun things around town that I wouldn't have know about otherwise!
