yeah I am in the process of joining momsclub but they are really strict about chapter district and location so I'm still confused about which chapter I'm supposed to join. I recently was told to join the Paradise Hills group (which is actually farther away from me) But So far I am really looking forward to seeing what its all about so Im going to try it first to find out. I am really interested in the charity for needy children around the world. Anyways I'm going to give it a shot. Ill be new to this too so let me know how it goes for you! Best of LUCK!!

I've also been checking out Momsclub.org and having the same problem with boundaries. You can also check out www.phoenixmommies.com. It's a realatively new site with different area groups.
I am the membership person for our Moms Club Chapter in Laveen, AZ. I joined the club almost 2 years ago when I moved from another state and knew no one. It was the best thing that has ever happened to my boys and I. We have made so many wonderful friends and as someone else said, All the moms are going through the same things that you are. It is a moms club, a support group for stay at home moms. Most clubs meet a couple times a week at various locations and members can go to as many or as few events as they wish. Every month the club will have one Moms Night Out on the calendar. Those are the only events that the kids are not welcome to go to, with the exception of nursing babies of course. It is a wonderful way to help you from going crazy staying at home with your kids. All moms need adult conversation so the moms club provides you with so many ways to socialize and get out and about. Just go to www.momsclub.org then click on chapter links at the bottom of the page and find the chapter closest to you. Contact that chapter and you will be allowed to go to two events to see if the club is right for you before deciding whether or not to join. I highly recommend the Moms Club. Good Luck!
my SIL is part of the MOMS club in the surpise chapter! she LOVES it :)
I have not heard about this site other than I think it is an international moms club. Might be interesting. Welcome to Mamasource. Glad you are here. I am a single, stay at home mom and love it too. I have three kids, ages 7, 10, and 12 1/2 and live in New Mexico.

Yeah, it's an international mom's club and it only costs $2 to join!
I am part of Maricopa MOMS Club and I love it! My 22 month old is in a play group so she gets to interact with kids her age. And it really is a great group of women that you can network with. Lots of activities, fundraisers, holiday parties and MOMs support.
I have met a lot of new friends, I never would have expected to get as much as I have out of this group!
Yes! I've been a member for two years and an officer for one. I decided not to re-elect myself because I have a baby on the way in August. If you don't see under Chapter Links that a local boundary wise moms club chapter is on there. You might want to contact them at ____@____.com and state an interest and your boundaries. Perhaps there is one, they just don't have a website. I'm in the MOMS Club Chandler East Chapter and we're not listed either. We don't have a website. It's in the process and we have 30 members. We usually have about 10-11 activities every month. I probably attended at least 8 of them.
Good Luck!
When I was a sahm I belonged to a local MomsClub. I met wonderful moms with children my daughters age. I am still in contact with several of them even though I have not been in the group for a long time. They are a support group of women. They have play groups for the children and activities held through out the month. A wonderful group if you have one in your area.
Hi K.,
I have been in a MomsClub in the north valley since my son was about 6 months old (almost 2 years). We LOVE it! You get to meet lots of other SAHMs in your immediate area. They do playgroups, and weekly activities, such as park days (when it's cool), Chuck E. Cheese, zoo, tours of stores such as Petco or Home Depot, and countless other fun things to do for moms and babies. My kids are now 2 1/2 and 15 months, and we are with a club activity probably 3 times per week. It's been a lifesaver for me, and has provided great socialization/friendships for my kids. I would strongly recommend it to anyone!
Let me know if you have any more questions. Good luck!
I am part of momsclub.org and I love it. I moved here in November and was really depressed because I didnt know anyone down here and didnt have anything to keep me and my daughter busy. Joining the moms group changed all of that. I now have friends, good ones, and we all get together a couple times a week for various activities including a moms night out once a month. I love it, cant say enough about it.
As far as I know there isn't one out here in Tucson.
My good friend is part of this group and they seem to be very reputable and a fun way to meet other stay at home moms. I think thier dues are something like $25 for the year (and they sometimes have sponsorship). They do things like play groups and activities...they also have a moms night out meeting. I have yet to join (mostly because I am going back to work this year) but if I were to stay home I would definately become a member.
I agree, I would love to get the interaction with other Moms,as the site talks about. I emailed them for information, and they said there is not a chapter in my area, but I could start one. I hope someone will, but I have too much on my plate that I don't have the time to start one myself. Thanks for sharing, and I plan to keep checking to see if a group is started in my area in NM.
Thanks again,
L.
Hi K.,
I am a member of MomsClub--the Taylor Ranch (ABQ) chapter. I've been a member for about 2 years and LOVE it. My kids are 6,4,and 2. We do lots of fun activities and I've made some wonderful friends. Like this website, it's also a great resource for information and advice about anything and everything. Our dues are only $15/year and the rewards far exceed the cost of membership. I hope you can find a chapter near the base because you won't regret it.
Heidi just started her tenure as the MOMS Club MVP in Ventana Ranch. That is the position that welcomes new members. She has been a sahm for the last year and has had a really great experience with them.
They have days where ladies can show off their home run businesses, playgroups, organized walks and good network for meeting at the park and what-not.
Drop a line to us if you'd like her to contact you.
Kurt
hello K.;
I am actually an active member of MOMS Club Rio Rancho-North. I saw on your profile that you are located in Albuquerque. All you need to do is request info from the website and they will send your info to the correct chapter. Since Albq. is so big there are a handful of different chapters it all depends on what part of Albq you are in.
The group normally has a monthly calendar of events (ie; playgroups, childrens activities, cooking clubs, book clubs) I have to say that my experience was awesome and I have made some great friends (that are almost like sisters to me). If you need help please emial me and I can see what I can do for you!

You can go to their website and read up on it, or request more information from them. Or ask the person who told you about it for more information. I just went to their website and it looks intriguing. I may look into it more myself.
Hi K.,
The MOMS Club is a wonderful organization of stay at home moms. I have been involved since my first daughter was 3 months old. I was the president last term and it was very rewarding. I have met great friends over the years and my girls have playmates. Each chapter has their own board & coordinators so each are a little different. The chapter you would go to depends on your location. You can go to 2 open events without being a member to try it out.
Good Luck!
Hello, I recently joined MOMS Club about 4 months ago, and I really enjoy it. My husband started working out of town and I was looking for ways to meet my social needs when he's gone, so when I heard about MOMS Club here on Mamasource, I joined and I have been very happy I did. Not only is it a social outlet for me and my toddler (he loves getting out of the house and really likes to play with kids), but it's a support network as well. It's regional, so the members in my chapter all live near me. They were able to refer babysitters to me, as well as really help me find a successful solution to a sleep problem my toddler was having. It's nice just to be around other people in a similar phase of life to bounce ideas off of. When I had a baby this month they all brought me meals while we were adjusting.
I don't go to every activity, but it sure is nice to have a few things during the week to go to if we want to get out, and I'm discovering local places for kids that I didn't know existed before. I joined mostly for me, but I'm starting to go to most of the activities the club plans because my son loves it so much. It's a low annual fee to be a member (for my chapter it was $23 for the whole year) so it has been well worth it for me.
