We like SF Bay Pediatrics. Dr Dab is our doctor. It's located in Laurel Village - lots of parking.
Looking for a great pediatrician in San Francisco, we will go anywhere in the city (non-Kaiser).
Thanks so much for your help!

We used Dr. Stephen Rosenbaum w/Town & Country Pediatric at 3838 California, Ste 111; ###-###-####. We didn't have enough time to interview all pediatricians b/c my boy came 5 weeks early and the nurses at CPMC highly recommended Dr. Rosenbaum and we've stuck with him for almost 4 years. Now, we have Kaiser so I had to change but if I had a chance to go back to CPMC and all our previous doctors, I would in a second (been with them for over 10 years).
The only minor complaint is that sometimes the wait is a little on the long side and that's b/c he takes his time with your kid and you. His attention to you and your kid is just awesome. You never feel rushed and his staff is great, too. Good luck!
Lisa Dana, M.D. She is in a practice with Patton, Aicardi, Gonda, et al. They are all excellent!

Dr. William Solomon at Pacific Pediatrics is the BEST -- gentle, kind, respectful of your baby and genuinely concerned about your baby's welfare. He's also patient with neurotic parents and always in a good mood with a reassuring sense of humor. He's part of the Brown & Toland medical group; I have had both Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance and he's been on both. He has two offices: one at Davies Medical Center (45 Castro; ###-###-####) and another up by Cal Pacific (3905 Sacramento; ###-###-####. The other two doctors in the practice are good too (Dr. Daniel Kelly and Dr. Barry Rostek) but Dr. Solomon is AMAZING. I live in Oakland and I won't switch. Cheers, K.
We've been seeing Jane Anderson at Mt Zion Pediatrics (UCSF) since our kids were born. We love her. She has several (now adult) kids of her own and teaches medicine, so her advice is always well grounded and realistic. For new parents, she does her well baby check ups in a group - you meet, discuss what is going on, and then break off into your own room for weighings and shots. I really liked this format as it introduced us to 4 families with babies the same age as ours, and we saw first hand that all of those crazy things infants go through are universal.
