Seeking a Good Pediatrician in Skokie

We use Medical Care Group in Skokie--Dr. Maurer and Dr. Rose both women...wonderful! great office staff too. they are associated w/ lots of different hospitals too. can't say enough good things about them! they are awesome!

We love Kids First Pediatrics with DiVincenzo, Shepard, and Aronson. Across from Rush North Shore on Golf Road. We are always given lots of time and attention with each appointment and question we have. They fit our style and philosophy. I actually asked my OB who she took her children to, and she recommended Dr. DiVincenzo. Good luck!

I also see, Dr. Minkus.
He is great! The other two doctors in his practice that I reccommend are women, Dr. Albert, and Dr. Molly Capron. (The other two are not my favorite)
My 12 year old daughter is switching to one of the women now that she is getting older, but I have been seeing Dr. Minkus with my four children for the last three years.
I always feel respected and listened to by the doctor and the staff.

P.- Dr. Ettner-who I found thru my midwife and is referred quite often here on Mamasource is wonderful. He is a GP but works with many children. He was an OB/GYN orginally and now practices out of St. Francis in Evanston, which is not far from Skokie at all. He is a great doctor. I chose him because when I was in the hospital with the birth of my daughter over the holidays and being brand new to the area, he assumed care for her so we could be released from the hospital, I am very holistic and had alot of problems with the attending pediatrician and Dr. Ettner went above and beyond the call of duty in this day and age. He personally called me on my cellphone and made arrangements with the hospital.

My kids go to a great doctor in Skokie. His name is Michael Rosenbaum and his partner is Dr. Swislow. He is a wonderful doctor. He is very attentive and has even called on the weekends to make sure my sons are okay when they are sick. We set up an interview with him. Good luck!

I am the mother of 4 year old twins. Both my family and my best friend's family bring our kids to ENH Pediatrics-neither of us live in the area. My daughters see Dr. Sarah Albert and my friend's kids see Dr. Myron Singer. They have two offices, one in Skokie and one in Lincolnwood. Both offices have walk-in hours Monday through Saturday, Lincolnwood also has Sunday walk-in hours which is almost impossible to find. There are a total of 5 pediaticians in the practice, of course I recommend the two above as well as Dr. Minkus and Dr. Goldberg.

I go to Dr. Kathy Divinchenzo near Golf and Gross Point Road. I really like her and the two doctors that work with her (Dr. Cathy Shepheard and Dr. Aaronson).
