Hello Mamas,

Well, I'm finally graduating with my B.S. in Computer Science Engineering, (it took long enough! lol), and my family is coming up here for my graduation. There will be a total of 14 of us. We would like to go eat at nice restaurant that is moderately priced. Does anybody have any suggestions on nice moderately priced restaurants in Tarrant County? Any suggestions will be welcome. TIA!!

What can I do next?

HI P.,

We LOVE La Bistro Italian restaurant off of Grapevine Hwy (Hwy 26)and Hurstview. It is a wonderful wonderful restaurant owned, Italian accent waiters, and the food is phenomenal. Service is outstanding and we have been going there for special occasions for 16 years. It is in a strip mall so it doesn't look like it would be a fancier restaurant but I promise, it is just all yummy, if you want some good Italian. They have a great wine list too! Congrats on your graduation!

I love Steak and Ale. Their Prime Rib is wonderful. I am pretty sure that at some of the locations you can actually have a small dining room to yourself rather than being in the larger dining room with everyone else. Of course you might not even be considering that option. For mexican food I like El Rancho Grande in Fort Worth. It is really good too.

Oh! Also, some of the nicer hotels have their own restaurant that might be worth checking out as well.

Congratulations!! I hope you have a wonderful celebratory dinner (where ever it is) and a long, successful and prosperous career.

Congrats P.! I highly recommend The Keg Steakhouse in the Hulen area. Its amazing and has an extremely nice atmosphere. The restaurant looks like it belongs in L.A. or New York, its that trendy. You can wear jeans or beyond. For my family, its definitely a special occasion type of place. Steaks start out at $16 but I'm telling you it's well worth it. The service is top notch and the food is to die for. And if its your first time dining there, they give you either free appitizers or free deserts for the whole table!

Congratulations! My husband has been a part-time college student for 5 years, and probably has that much more to go. I love Lucille's on Camp Bowie. Their menu is varied enough for most tastes and budgets.

If there are a lot of children I would go to Golden Corral off I think Prcinct. It has every thing for anyone. They I believe can put you in a room. Dave and Busters is a nice sit down dinner but farther away and has arcade and pool tables. But probably more money. Papadau is great Cajun food but may be to expensive too. G. W
