Does anyone know where I can find used tap shoes? My daughter is only 3 and I don't want to invest in new shoes until I know if she will like it or not.

You might try Just Between Friends Consignment Sale that is coming up in September and also Divine Consign too. Just between friends website is www.jbfsale.com I'm not sure what Divne Consign's website is. I would also try Kid to Kid, they might have some. The consignment sales have large assortments of shoes, you may have to do some digging, however you might find just what you need and at a great price!
Check Kid to Kid or on Ebay. My daughter takes Tap and Ballet and I got her tap shoes and ballet shoes together on ebay for $6.00 and they both were Bloch, which is a name brand dance shoe!! Alot of the other moms in my daughter dance class said they got their daughters tap shoes at Kid to Kid. Hope this helps!!
What size? I have ballet and tap for sale that my daughter used for about 2 months. :-)
There is a store at Hebron/35 by Toy R Us and Academy (Across from Valley View Mall), I think it's called Spotlight Dancewear. The tap shoes are $25, or at least they were for my 3 yr old.

We did this same thing last year. I searched at Kid2Kid, but they were all out. So, we drove to Grapevine Mills and found a dance store in there. We bought some ballet slippers and tap shoes for a VERY reasonable price and they were very friendly and very helpful. We will go there again. GL!

Check with the school that she is attending-
some of them have old lost and founds that you can check thru or pop a note in the waiting area for used shoes- its a great idea not to invest. Other than that- thrift stores may have them-
