Hello All!

We are bran new to the Hershey, PA area and my Husband & I both need a primary care physicians. I prefer a female and he says he really doesn't care, but his last 4 doctors were all male... We had a horrible 4 first weeks here trying to find our 2 year old daughter a pediatrician (no one was accepting new patients)and from the looks of it, my husband and I are on that very same path. We don't mind if it's a groups or family care center, WHATEVER ! As long as we can get in. So any suggestions at this point would be tremendously appreciated. We'd would rather not travel too far out of Hershey or Hummelstown, but are willing for some good doctors!

Any dentist suggestions would be great too!

Thanks SO much ahead of time...

I have my family go to the University Physician's Group on Cherry Dr, it used to be Cherry Dr but they changed it and I'm not sure of the name of the road now. I was first referred there because of the great pediatric group and I went there for both pregnancies and I send both my boys there. The Pediatric number is ###-###-####.

We use Dr Levi for the boys and I absolutely love how well he works with us and both of them. But being a group practice we don't always see him and I've never had problems with any of the others.

Good Luck!

We go to Todd Fisher Family Medicine. Both he and the PA are men, but the rest of the staff is ladies. It's a VERY family oriented business (both his wife and his step-daughter work there), and they are available 24/7. My husband was sick on Saturday, we called him, and within 10 minutes he had called medicine into our local pharmacy and called us to let us know. There are toys and books for our son to play with, they have lollipops, and if they get shots they get to go to the prize chest. My son LOVES going there and actually gets upset if he can't go with us. I highly suggest giving them a call at ###-###-####. They are located by Gold's Gym, so it's fairly easy to get to no matter where you live in Hershey!

My family uses University Physicians Group of Fishburn Rd they are through Hershey Med center. We like all the Dr.'s we've seen and everyone is pretty helpful. There are a couple of THe practices around the area and 2 are in hershey but which ever one you would choose that is the one you have to stay with because even though they are all University Phys. Group they are all different. We chose Fishburn because they have day and evening hours and they also now have an after hours clinic for wlak-ins.
Their number is ###-###-####.
Hope this helps.

Dr. Deanne Endy is in Hummelstown. She's the only doctor in the practice and I'm not sure if she's taking new patients but if you're new to the area she might. There's also a University Physician's Group off of Vine St in Hummelstown (its on Londonderry Rd). As for pediatricians, I just tried to change my kids after their doctor left one of the University Physicians groups through Hershey and have also had a hard time finding one who is accepting new patients. The Hershey Pediatric Center (I think thats the name) had a waiting list but within a week my kids were in the practice. You can look them up in the phone book (Dr. Bartlett is the main doctor). Good luck with your search, I know how tough it can be!
