We use Dr. David Luce in Boulder. He is an I. League educated doctor who believes in preventing disease and not just treating it after the fact. He believes in and is very supportive of alternative treatments. His phone # is: ###-###-####. Good Luck!

Hi Michelee

I have used a doctor near Lafayette. Her name is Vicky Vanderpool and her office is just south of the new Exempla Hospital at 287 and Northwest Parkway. Her number is ###-###-####. She is a naturopathic MD. She survived cancer and has celiac disease. She believes in a more holistic approach and uses supplements and diet changes. When I went to learn about celiac disease, she handed me a 15 page print out of all that we discussed and treatments included diet changes, supplements, regular massages and weekly time spent on activities that feed my soul. I loved it!

Good luck!
L.

Dr. Robert Gleser at Healtmark (www.healthmark.org) is my primary doctor. He is educated in alternative medicine, prescribes herbs, etc. Also, there are practitioners in the same office who offer acupunture, chiropractic services, massage, and other things. I've seen several people there because of my back problems.

We also use Partners in Pediatrics for our daughter. They also are utilize western and alternative medicine as well.

Although Dr. Kimberly Roos is not versed in western med. she is open to exploring it. She is my OB and absolutely love her. As for a general practitioner Dr. Charles Tawa in Boulder is a good choise he is egyptian and has been my doc since I was a kid. He is also an accupuncturist and would be a good option. I suggest you give them a call and set up an interview to see if they are right for your family too! Dr. Sona Shah is our ped. if you are looking forone of those too!

Dr Paul Berger---Most Professional Doctor in Boulder County
By Donna P.
Dr Paul Berger's Holistic Clinic at the Boulder
Mapleton Hospital location has moved, however
Dr Berger's family care will never change from the
most professional care Boulder has ever seen.
Although losing some of his staff in his move,
I think you should know that this office is very
very special. I will indeed miss the entire past
staff. Dr. Berger welcomes every child
and family member with gracious customer care,
all insurances, and practices what a doctor should:
Advanced medical care with the utmost concern of a
true advanced physician to help us not only cure,
but keep us in good health. I would recommend trying Dr. Berger's office first and foremost with
any health concern that your family needs. You will soon see why I recommend his care.
Dr. Berger is foremost and first in instituting
a "patient" care first when it comes to accepting
major insurance changes, he is not your typical
"where is your money?" blocked- care physician. He
is interested in teaching you as the patient how to
keep your body healthy. He listens with open
ears to your concerns, and then addresses the
proper guidance to get you well.
Wellness is not new to Boulder County residents.
However, physicians that educate themselves alike
Dr. Berger will be the leaders in health care across this country in the next decade and will be
rewarded and recognized as doctors who know the
medical and holistic alternative care to educate
and treat his patients.
What's special about Dr. Berger and his health
care professionals? check this office out, first
and foremost when you need QUALITY health care.

PROS: Overall patient care, continuing education, advanced medical care.
CONS: None
