Hi Moms,
You have been so helpful to me in the past. This is most important question I've asked so far! We live in Allen BUT I'm willing to drive to find a wonderful learning center for Austin. I'm going back to work and need to find one rather quickly. I've checked some on-line reviews and read some scarey things. Please let me know your experiences.
Thanks so much~ E.

I don't know how much you want to spend, but I've heard great things about the Primrose schools. Not sure what age they start to take children.
You should go to: http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/Child_Care/Search_Texas_Child...
This is a state site that allows you to search for registered in-home daycares as well as daycare centers. They give information as well as negative information about the daycare(during one of the state's visits to the daycare.) Hope this helps you--I found a great full-time, in-home Montessori daycare on this site that was right in my neighborhood.
On another note, my husband and I are also in television production! You'll have to let me know where your husband works.
Good Luck!

DFW center for Autism is wonderful. It is in Grapevine, though, but you may try contacting them to see if there are centers close to you.
There is also Rise School in Dallas that serves children with special needs. Sorry i dont know any close to you. DFWCA may serve as a valuable resource for you though!!
Good Luck!!
Parker Chase in far North Carrollton at marsh and hebron is the best. There is also one in Plano, but I am not famiiiar with that location--we have been at the carrollton one for years!
Both of my kids attend Children's Courtyard in Mckinney! IT IS GREAT. I highly recommend it!
I am a Registered in Home Day Care. I have 31 years of experience. I have an opening and the age of child, Austin, would fit right in. My children that I am keeping now are 17 months to 2 1/2 years. I would love to talk to you about an interview. Please call me at ###-###-####. I have a curriculum that I use when the child is ready. It is simple but they can learn from it and other things that we talk about and activities that we do.
Thanks for Reading,
C.
My daughter goes to Primrose. I really like it. They take children from 6 weeks to 12 years. The ones in Allen and McKinney are owned by the same person.
It's expensive, but Creme de la Creme in Allen has got a wonderful curriculum and a wonderful facility.
Children's Courtyard (there's one in McKinney) is also supposed to be good. I haven't investigated it lately, but have heard lots of good things.
The Heights Baptist Church has an awesome program. They are in Richardson, at Renner and 75 Central. Do not know if you plan to travel in that direction, or not. I know the ladies who work these areas. They have been there for years, and every child loves them! You can check out more info at www.TheHeights.org. Another place that I have learned from others is Cream-de-la Cream on McDermott and Alma.
You may also try checking out Dallas Child on-line. Whatever your choice, make sure it's a fit for you and your child.
Hello E.,
I have an in home daycare in Allen and I have 1 opening for a child over 12 months.
One thing you should keep in mind whenever you here about a daycare, what is it that you usually here?
The negative things, unfortuntly. Also how many do you here the negative things about? Really, not that many.
Most daycares are very good.
With that said, here is my website if your interested.

Also, I have my business listed on mamasource if you want to look it up. Some of my clients have put reviews about my daycare on there.
It's under Little Sprouts Daycare
