My 3 Year Old Doesn't Sleep

Please help, I'm so frustrated, I just want to cry. My 3 year old doesn't seem to sleep more than 8-9 hours in a 24 hour period. Aren't kids this age supposed to get 11-12 hours of sleep in a day? She's been out of her crib for two months, and she started preschool earlier this week. Our bedtime routine is a nightmare (for me), and it has been for a while, not just recently. I start with the end of her TV show at 8:15, then it's brushing her teeth, which usually takes 15 minutes to half an hour because she doesn't want to cooperate,...

Diaper Rash ?

My daughter got that nasty stomach virus that is going around and still is having diarrea(sp?). she now has a bad diaper rash bc of the diarrea, during the day I change her as soon as i know she has gone, but what she is doing is going at night and sleeping in it. I can tell bc it is all dried up on to her little bottom. I have been using desitin creamy and it seems to work ok but it keeps coming back. I am just wondering if there is anything else I can do or if I just have to wait it out?

Diaper Rash ?

My daughter got that nasty stomach virus that is going around and still is having diarrea(sp?). she now has a bad diaper rash bc of the diarrea, during the day I change her as soon as i know she has gone, but what she is doing is going at night and sleeping in it. I can tell bc it is all dried up on to her little bottom. I have been using desitin creamy and it seems to work ok but it keeps coming back. I am just wondering if there is anything else I can do or if I just have to wait it out?

What Should I Do for Diaper Rash?

I think my 2 month old son has some diaper rash on the inside of his thighs and his lower stomach above his diaper. I have never seen or felt diaper rash so I'm not sure if that is what it is. The skin is bumpy and feels leathery. I have applied some A+D Ointment on it but I'm not seeing a difference. Do any other moms have any suggestions of anything else I should be applying? Does Desitin work better? Thanks, D.

Help, My Son Won't Take His Medicine!

Ben, 2 1/2, is on antibiotics for a possible staph infection on his cheek (again). I'm having the hardest time getting him to take his medicine. He wont take it willingly, he will just spit it out. I have to have him take it, else he will end up in the hospital like last year for 5 days on IV antibiotics. I've tried bribing him with lots of different candy, but he still wont take it. Stomach Flu Stress

My 4-year-old started a really bad stomach flu in our home. It was a weird one. She had bad tummy aches during the day and would throw up all night long for 4 nights in a row.
