Need Location for Princess Birthday Party

My daughter is turning 4 in April and has requested a Princess Tea Party with all of her guests wearing their favorite princess dress. Our home is not large enough to accommodate all the guests and the decorations I have in mind. Are there places that just rent out large rooms to hold parties? I'm wondering if our options are limited, because I don't want a place who does the party FOR you. I just need a place to set up that will accommodate a large group of children and adults. I am planning on bringing our own decorations, cake, etc. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

Chelseas Tea Room is an excellent place for a princess party. I had my daughters 4th birthday party there and she loved it. Best of all I didnt have to clean up the mess!! There is a website and I think it is chelseas.org.

Botanical gardens is great, they have all different sizes of rooms are very resonable. you can go on their website and they give you all the info, they set the tables up for you and that is it, you do the rest yourself and they evan have a small kitchen with each room and not only that but if any of the parents get bored they can go and walk around the garden which is just feet away from the room. we just had an engagement party there and invited around 40 people and the room was around $125.00 for 4 hours. they evan give you a big cart that you can take to your vehicle to load everything on to bring all yourstuff inside and then to take everything back to your vehicle when the party is done. highly recomend it, and they evan had baby showers there and another birthday party there when we had our party, so they host to all events!!!

N., I'm not sure where you live but Rec centers and community centers sometimes have large rooms they rent out. Hope this helps. I've been where you are and needed large spaces for parties or gatherings. We were lucky and had family members that were members of bigger churches and they arranged for use to use the churches facilities. Because they went to church there, there was no charge. That might be another option if you(or good friend) are any family memeber go to church anywhere. Good luck. I know it can be stressful planning your kids B-day party when you what it to be special for them.

Hi, There is a place in Burleson called Nashville Texas Party Barn. It's at 109 W. Ellison St. The number is ###-###-####. I'm not sure of the price, sorry. We had my grandparents anniversary party there last year and it was just great. It is a large open room with a kitchen and plenty of table and chairs. Hope this is helpful.

Check out your local rec center. They usually have rooms to rent and you can either have them 'host' or you can do most of it yourself. Some churches also will rent out their meeting rooms spaces, so maybe try your church also. Good luck!

Check you local recreation centers..we help my daughters 5th birthday (a princess party) at ours and it was only like $60 for 4 hours. We had to write them a $100 check for a deposit but they gave it back after the party was over and seen that we didn't destroy the place : )

Most of the time they have several different sized rooms to choose from. You might also call some big hotels in the area, sometimes they have banquet rooms available to rent out, I'm not sure how that works though...and it sounds like it might be expensive??

Good luck! I'm sure she'll have a wonderful time no matter where you decide to have it!

In Irving you can rent buildings from the City Park and Recreation Centers. I believe the cost is $50.00 for the day/night. I had to put a $100.00 deposit down and after they checked to make sure everything was clean and in order they refunded $50.00.

I did a tea party for my daughter when she was 7, I rented a room at our local recreation area (we live in Hurst and have a really nice one and the room itself was about $ 25 for 2 hours on a Sat. afternoon) and used their tables and chairs but brought the decorations and food. I actually went to the Goodwill store and bought cups and saucers (got 20 each for about $ 6.00) Instead of real tea I served apple juice in the tea cups. I served the girls a fruit cabob of pineapple, strawberry, grapes, peanut butter sandwiches cut out with butterfly cookie cutter, cheese cubes and crackers and of course birthday cake. For entertainment I had a couple of moms with older (teenage) daughters paint fingernails and apply a little makeup. I made a game -pin the crown on the princess(drew girls head and torso on butcher paper, drew and cut out crowns for each to pin on, blindfolded each to see who got closest to top of head!) I also brought music for dancing which was the biggest hit of all, and the room had a wall of mirrors and the girls loved dancing and watching themselves and friends dance and be silly. My favors for the day were feather boas for each girl, they loved using them when dancing! Hope this info helps.
Good luck! D.

Depending on where you live, there should be a recreation center that can offer you a room. I live in Arlington. Close to my home we have a rec center called the Elzie Odom Center. They rent rooms to families for parties all the time.

Some neighborhoods have club houses that can be rented for this purpose. If you don't live in the subdivision but have a friend who does, maybe she can arrange it for you.

We office in a warehouse in Colleyville off 26 right past Church Street - across the street from First Baptist Colleyville. We have rented out the warehouse for parties as well as having Chamber events there as well. We have tables and chairs you can use. Let me know if you are interested. I can be reached at ###-###-####.

Check out our local city owned civic centers. Usually those type of places have facilities for rent. I know that the City of DeSoto, Lancaster and Cedar Hill all have civic center facilities available for rent. The price is usually based upon size of room and length of time needed - full day or half day. Call around and ask for the details. I would get started early, though, because these type of places fill up fast.

I live in Cedar Hill and I used to rent a room at the DeSoto Civic Center for my girls' birthdays. The Center provided the tables and tableclothes and chairs. They would set up the tables and chairs according to the diagram I had provided then all I would have to do is bring my decorations, games for the kids, refreshments and favors. It was always a hit every time and I didn't have to worry about space.

Good luck and happy partying!!

There is a place in Downtown Keller that does tea party birthday's but since you say you just need a room, have you tried your local Rec Center? I think North Richland Hills rents out their upstairs.
The City of Watuaga has a place they rent out as well. It's a house on North Park between Rufe Snow and Whitley Rd. I am sorry, but I can't recall the name of the place. It's really nice though with a full functioning kitchen.
I'm sure if you called the city, they would be more helpful.
Hope this is helpful. Have a fun tea party!!
