Need Help Finding Stylist Good with Short Hair

Joan Tate at Lakewood Salon (corner of Mockingbird and Abrams - northeast corner). ####-###-#### - she does great on long or short hair. I went to high school with her, lost touch and ran into her again about 2 years ago. She started highlighting and cutting my hair (long) and I always did my own. She has a great personality and is VERY reasonable! My hair very thin and she does long layers to help mine out and I'm fixin' (that's the Texan in me coming out) to go Friday to get a spiral perm (another thing I've never done)

They have a ton of other services in that same salon area - check it out if you have never been.

I have short hair also and I love it. I use a young lady named Natalie at Salon en'er in central Mesquite. She's very reasonable. However, Natalie will be not working for a few weeks b/c she just had a new baby earlier this week. I do not have a number for the salon I only have Natalie's personal number and I don't think I should give that out w/o her permission. The salon is on Davis street so maybe you could find the number and ask when she's coming back.

Well I know of a place that is reasonable and good quality. Now you can't judge this place because of where's it's located but they do excellent work. It too is also located in East Dallas off of Capital and Fitzhugh. You can ask for Sandra or Melly. If they ask how you know you can tell them I reffered you...M. Franco! Hope it all works out.

The Michael Raymond Salon in Mockingbird station is great! Nicole McCormic is my stylist and I have a short due. She is one of those stylist that can look at you and determine what will look best on your head with your hair type. Their phone number is ###-###-#### and it is an Aveda salon. She is a mother of 2 and charges $50 for a cut but it is worth the money. I have my apt today! I think they also do waxing... Not sure what part of town you live in but I go to the Ogle Beauty School located in Dallas off of Mockingbird & Abrams. Your haircut/style will be preformed by students with teacher supervision and I have been very happy with their services. The prices are really reasonable and they do waxing, facials, pedicures, manicures, all at a reasonable price. Their number is ###-###-#### if you want to call and make an appointment. Also, I had them to a bikini wax about a month ago, and it wasn't too bad.. I figure if you can have a baby, nothing else can be as painful.. :)I plan on going back sometime this month. I highly recommend Christopher Epperson at the Adam Kent Salon on Turtle Creek near Oak Lawn. He began cutting my hair when my former stylist (his boss) was being treated for terminal breast cancer, and he does a great job. He's very good. His # is ###-###-####. As a plus, he's also very sweet about my bringing my little girl on the rare occasions when I have to bring her to a hair appointment. She's been welcome there since she was an infant, and she's even welcome now that she's able to climb up the stairs! I do try not to take her along, because that's not very relaxing for me to have her there, but sometimes you just can't help it.

If you want someone in East Dallas proper, I have heard good things about the Blow salon. I have never had a haircut there, but April has done some waxing for me in the past, including a bikini wax. It smarts, no question about it, but it's really nice once it's done!

Farrah owns immages by farrah. It's off of Knox and Travis streets (by 75). She charges $40 for a haircut and she is FABULOUS! I just started going to her and she gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. ###-###-####. Its just her so leave a message and she will call you back
