Hi - K. I understand about losing some LBs before summer. I can not do diets becuase once in my mind that I can't have something I NEED it. This is what I have been doing and have been losing weight.
1) I get 2 cups of coffee each morning (this was hard for me)I have started using soy milk in my coffee as well.
2) All of my portions of carbs or meat are no bigger than the size of my fist combined. the rest of my plate has salad or fruit.
3) Unil noon I can drink anything I want except sodas, but after noon it is water from there on out.
4) I do not eat anything after 7:00pm.
5) If you feel snackie eat some almonds or a spoon of PB.
6) I walk my dog each evening for 20-30 mins.
I also get everyone (hubby, 3yr old and 2 yr old) together each night before bed and we stretch. I read somewhere that this helps relax you so your body can burn more calories while you sleep. Don't know if it is true but the kids like the quality time - they also like to show off how flexible they are :)
