It may be the door. My sister had a problem and it was the top and the bottom of the door. There are brackets that can get off center. They may just need adjusted.
My nephew was swinging on the door and it causes them to move a bit.
Has anyone had issues with their freezer door not sealing? It's a side by side that was purchaed in 2002, it otherwise has no issues so I don't want to buy a new one.
Awhile back the seal stopped working, we called around & were told for a cheap fix while we wait for the seal to come in apply vaseline on the seal- it actually worked. My husband has since replaced the seal....it's not sealing AGAIN! It's a brand new seal??? Could it be something else? Anyone have any similiar issues? Who do I call for an honest opinion/estimate?
(It's a frigidaire)

The only thing I can suggest (and you may have already tried) is to check it for level. The freezer needs to be level from side to side. It either needs to be level front to back or else the front should be just slightly higher. If it isn't level, you either adjust the feet or put some shims under the feet. You may also want to check to see if you can adjust the alignment of the hinges at all . . .
I would check with a repairman, or call the customer service # on the paperwork you got when you bought it.
We just had the same thing happen with our side by side refrigerator/freezer. Not only was it the seal but the hing that holds the door on had bent, so we had to get it replaced too. Since then it has been working great. Good luck

Check the model number online and see what the reviews are on your model. If there are many complaints on this particular model with the seal then I'd call the company direct and make a complaint. If the reviews are fine then it may be your particular fridge. Not sure what it would be. What about the hinges?
My sister had this problem with her washer. The seal was too thin and would rip and leak water. We found there were many people with the same problem and using this info prompted the company, and the place that sold it to them, to keep making replacements of the seal on a regular basis and reimburse her money for the use of a laundry mat.

**Wanted to add that you should leave your own review on your model so others who may have the same problem will know you've experienced it as well.
