Moving to Wellington

Christ Fellowship is a really fun church. It's pretty big though- it even has a Starbucks and a church gift shop! so if you are more into quaint or smaller congregations, it's not the church for you.

If you are looking for information on public elementary education/kindergarten in Wellington, go to the School District of Palm Beach County's website:

You should be able to look at the different schools, websites, there are individual school websites, information about the principals, boundaries, etc... You could probably even email your slated school directly to get an answer to your enrollment question (or call the School Board office at ###-###-####)

I used to live in that area, I would check with the school you are zoned for, call them and find out when registration is. Also, for preschool, and regular school, IDEAL school is great. My daughther went there, and it had the best expierence there.

Hello! I've heard Summit Christian is a wonderful school, but I don't know when registration begins. Also, St. Rita's is a church in Wellington that friends of mine attend. Hope this information helps! :)

Hi C.. I live in Wellington as well. I have a 5 year old boy who will start kindergarten in Aug (when my next child is due). My husbands family has attended Wellington Presbyterian Church for over 20 years and we have been going to church regularly for the last 3 years. It has a great school that I would love my son to go to, however, money is an issue with us so that might not happen. I highly recommend it. You can check out their website at: http://www.wpcfl.com/

In Fl they have a state funded program for Pre-K called VPK. My son is in a Christian school called "Childrens Learning Center" in a church called "Christian Life Center". The people and teachers there are awesome. If you google "VPK" you will be able to find out all the info.

I also love to scrapbook but I have a small townhouse & I haven't got the room to do so. I used to go to a friends house but she moved away. a few weeks ago I went to a b-day party for my son's school friend & his mom scrapbooks and told me to come over anytime so I will be excited to start that back up. My son attends Wellington Christian and we LOVE it. The school is K-3 through 12th grade and it accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Christian Schools of Florida. The teachers are so loving and really care for the children. We also attend the church associated with the school, Wellington Presbyterian Church. We have a new pastor, Eric Molicki, who is young with young children (3 and 5) and a dynamic addition to our church. If you are interested, I will send you contact info for the school or church.
