Mom's Who Use Teething Necklaces. HELP

I usually use a anklet on my son, but once his molars came in he needed something closer to his mouth so I started using a necklace. Usually I would keep the anklet on him during the night, but now that he is wearing the necklace, I don't feel like it's safe to do. What should I do? Put in on his wrist??

So What Happened?

Lisa, that is why I am asking. and Yes, my son needs something at night. My lack of sleep while my son's necklace was in the mail proves he needs something. Did your kids not teeth at night, because my son sure does!

I have never in my life heard of a child that needs a teether 24/7. Why not take the thing off at night and see what happens.

We have been using a necklace during the day and an anklet at naptime and night. So far this seems to be enough.

Edit: Yes, my DD has terrible teething pain at night. Maybe we are just lucky that the anklet is enough at night. I know some people leave the necklaces on all the time, but I am like you and don't feel comfortable with that.

Also, I think some people may think a teething necklace is something babies chew on. For those that don't know, it is actually a baltic amber necklace that is worn to help relieve pain.

I take the necklace and wrap it around her ankle at night. I would guess it will still help at night on the ankle since there is more amber (or hazelwood) in the necklace than the anklet.

Never leave anything around your child's neck at night! I knew of a child who died from suffocation this way.
