Hello Everyone,
I am currently looking for an old Baltimore Orioles baseball tape(home game), probably around 2000. Does anyone know someone that may have taped these games and kept them? Or maybe you can direct me to person(s) who can help me. I will even pay for the tape once found. The reason I’m asking is b/c my son danced with the Orioles bird that day and i missed him. Everyone else saw him but me and I have been looking for that tape ever since:(…

Thanks so much for your help!!

My step sister (whose mom is an avid fan and had season tickets every year they lived in MD) said to contact the Baltimore Orioles Media Group and they'll have a copy!

Have you tried going directly to the source? The ball club might tape their own games and have them available to purchase?

Hi T.,

Did you try contacting the Orioles. Generally all pro teams tape their own games. Either that or if the game was televised, a news station would have a copy. Don't give up.

Have you tried contacting the team directly? Every single game that is broadcasted is in the teams video archive. I am sure that you are not the first person to make this type of request. Try going on their website and looking around.

You have several places to try.
1) The Orioles - http://baltimore.orioles.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=bal
There's a place for "fan forum" and "message boards." I would try there first. You always could use the "search" and maybe find something.
2) Comcast - They used to broadcast the games. http://www.comcast.net
3) MASN - Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. They currently broadcast the games. http://masnsports.com/
Good luck.

Try to contact fan sites/blogs, Craig's List, and memorabilla shops. Even those who don't have tapes might direct you to a collecter or fan who does.
