Hi Mommies -
I'd love to go explore a fleamarket. Does anyone have one to recommend within 30miles of Downtown Chicago. I've been to Wolff's at Allstate Arena some time ago, but might head out that way if it's still on in the weekends.
Thanks,
I look forward to exploring new places!

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone! Keep the tips coming....there are 365 days in the year to visit somewhere new. I will certainly be looking to head out to some of the aforementioned locations.

W.'s Flea Market at the Allstate Arena is open Sundays through 10/31/10. Hours are 6am to 3pm (except 10/24, closing at noon because of event in the stadium).

W.'s Indoor Flea Market in Palatine (1775 N. Rand Rd.) is open Saturdays and Sundays 8am - 4pm, year round

If you do go to Wolff's, I think it is on Sundays until the end of September, you could also stop by the SwapORama flea market in Melrose Park. It is on Lake just west of Mannheim. Watch the red lights, they will get you for the slightest move. There are regulars that sell new and used and really beat up and then some people that prefer it to garage sales. Ther is also indoor regulars. They also have one in S Ashland--it is huge. Buyers Flea Market on Division east of Cicero is more like a huge group of sellerrs and they can be expensive. Also check around for special flea markets in Dupage and I think I saw one on Craigslist for an evening flea market but cannot remember where--look under garage sales.

Try the Sandwich antiques market in Sandwich, IL. I haven't been in a long time but it was always a great way to spend a Sunday morning/afternoon. A little farther to go--takes about an hour to get there--but worth the trip. Here's the website: http://www.antiquemarkets.com/.
Have fun!
