Seattle & Olympia area would be fine too but it would be great if there were a closer option. I want to take my kids berry picking this summer. I don't think I really care what kind of berries. Maybe blueberries, raspberries or strawberries? What places are good?

You can get raspberries from Terry's Berries in the Puyallup Valley too. Their farm store is fantastic. In the fall they participate in Harvest Festival. A great activity for the whole family.

P. Farms in Puyallup, just off River Road at 66th Avenue East, is one of the only farms in our area that offers u-pick opportunities during their strawberry harvest. Call their stand at ###-###-#### to find out when their U-pick is available or email them at ____@____.com can also visit their website at www.pichafarms.com

I don't know of any places for strawberries in Pierce County. all the ones we called stopped doing u-pick, but if you want Blueberries, Linbo Blueberry Farm in Puyallup opens July 15th for u-pick. You can find it online at www.linboblueberries.com.
Hope that helps and happy picking.

Check out this website -- it is a list by area of places to get fresh produce including a number of places that are "u-pick" I would recommend Spooner Farms - wonderful strawberries!

We just picked strawberries at Spooners in Olympia - yum. I believe they have a farm in Puyallup too, but according to one website they don't do u-pick there. We pick blueberries at Carr's Organic Blueberry Farm. Here is a website that lists u-pick farms by county.
