I'm completely unfamiliar with the Doctors in the Greenville area, and am pregnant with my first!! I'd like some input on some good ones or even ones to avoid. I have not yet made my first OB appointment, but need to soon. Please help!

What can I do next?

I just had my first 4 months ago...congrats! I moved back to Greenville 15 years ago and my mother has been a RN for Greenville Hosiptal System for 40 years. When I first moved back, I asked her what doctor she recommends. She did some research and said that the Greenville OB/GYN has the best recommendation and that Dr. Michael Stamm has the best reputation in OB/GYN. I have been a patient for his for 15 years. He is professional, gentle, and a father of 3. I can't say enough about how much I admire and respect him. I also recommend Dr. Demosthenes ( better known as Dr. D). She is also with Greenville OB/GYN. In addition to having wonderful doctors, the nurses are wonderful as well. The practice does not make you feel like just a patient with a social security number but a patient who needs are important and special.

The website is http://www.greenvilleobgyn.com/home

I hope this helps.

R.,
I go to the Highlands Center for Women, they are located attached to the Saint Francis Women's and children's hospital. I see Dr. Bradley, although it is a large practice and with you being an OB patient you will end up seeing all the doctors in the practice because the one on call will deliver the baby but you can still choose a doctor. I have been very pleased with the practice. good luck to you.

Greenville OB-GYN

Wonderful practice in Greenville!! They have 3 offices around Greenville and have been around for many many year. They have 8 doctors on staff. I have had 4 children with them and 3 different Drs. have been on call at the births and I was very pleased with all of them. I had a primary and he just happened to be out of town during the summer twice. Dr. Gower: wonderful not one bad thing I could say about him, Dr. Stamm: Great man, very informative and just all around nice guy, Dr.Ellison: Started the practice, older but very good, traditional ways of medicine, great personality. Those are the drs, that delivered my children. I would recommend any of them. I hope this helps in your search.

Hi R., Dr. Marjorie Chorness of Blossom OB/GYN is great. She is off The Parkway on Sonia Dr. Her Ph# ###-###-####. She saved my live by catching cancer cells that my reg.doc missed. She did a Hysterectomy on me in March and took excellent care of me. Congrats on your first baby and best wishes!
