I also visit Contemporary Care for Women and see Dr. Tamanaha. I would recommend him to anyone. I haven't seen any other doctors in the practice but I have friends that do and they are all very pleased. Good Luck.
Hi Mamas, I'm going to try the Novasure procedure and there are many physicians on the list. I have eliminated any from Women of the Valley b/c of an earlier question. I also would like to have a woman so I am down to these 3 or 4 practices. What do you know about any of them? Comprehensive Women's Healthcare in Gilbert, Contemporary Care for Women in Gilbert, Goodman and Partridge in Chandler, and Starkey Ob/Gyn. Thanks so much!
K.
Thank you SO much for both positive and negative comments about the docs! I have two appts. next week with two female drs. One is from Comprehensive and the other from Contemporary. If they are both equally as good and likeable--I'm going to go with the one who will do the procedure the soonest. I'll keep you posted if you like. Thanks so much, Mamas!
I also visit Contemporary Care for Women and see Dr. Tamanaha. I would recommend him to anyone. I haven't seen any other doctors in the practice but I have friends that do and they are all very pleased. Good Luck.
I had all three of my children at Contemporary Care for Women and loved my experience with ALL the doctors in the practice. I understand if you are more comfortable with a woman, so I would reccomend Dr. Damore, but she is hard to get into see (very popular) and works out of the Tempe office. She was my ob for my first two pregnancies...very kind and understanding. I stayed at the gilbert office when she moved and I saw Dr. Tamanaha for gyn and ob for my third child. Although he is a man, I actually found that I was more comfortable with his demeanor and general attitude (not that Dr. Damore was bad). All the office staff is wonderful and the practice as a whole is great. Hope this helps.
Goodman and Partidge are men, I thought, but they are both good OB/GYN's. They did minor surgery on me when I first moved here in 1998. I would trust them. I went to Starkey, I believe, and he gave me a shot of Lupron that gave me a (documented) reaction that almost killed me. I had a really good experience with Dr. Eich in Tempe. He was the Chairman of the OB/GYN Board for the East Valley back then, and did my hysterectomy in 2000. The only reason I switched around is due to a change in insurance. But I would highly recommend him. Any doc who has pictures of Mel Gibson and Brad Pitt on his ceilings above the exam table is trying to be fun and supportive! Good luck! Kat
I hope your appointments go well. I just wanted to add that I also go to Contemporary Care for Women and see Dr. Tamanaha and I LOVE him. This office was so much better than my other OB that delivered my first...Mesa OB-GYN. Steer clear of them in the future :)
I go to Comprehensive Womens health care & I would recomend it I see Pat Wakovich ( a lady) she is very thural.
I would recommend Contemporary Care for Women without hesitation. They have a wonderful reputation and they delivered both of my babies--my latest born last week. R. Crocker, Certified Nurse Midwife since 1999 and SAHM of 2 since 2005.
I cannot say enough about Contemporary Care for Women. They are awesome. I see Dr Linnerson and he is great. All of the doctors there are amazing.
I go to Contemporary Care for Women in Gilbert. I usually see Dr. Tamanaha (male) and I really like him. When he is not available, I usually see Dr. Butler-Poku (female) and I like her too. She was actually on-call when my #2 was born. She seems to be very nice and easy to talk to. For many of the normal annual exams, I like to see Amber, the nurse practitioner. Again, very nice and fast!
Dr. Starkey (Karen Starkey, right?) delivered my first baby, and she was so awesome. I absolutely loved her. I would highly recommend her.
I see Dr. Falk at Comprehensive Women's Healthcare. I love, love, love him. I have seen all the doctors at the practice through my very eventful pregnancy and 2 hospital stays. They do have a female doctor, Dr. Kudlinski, I only saw her a few times, but she was very nice. I highly recommend this practice. I think you will be happy with all the doctors.
I go to Contemoprary Care for Women and I really like my doctor and all the staff. My doctor is Dr. Tamanaha
I use Comprehensive Women's and love all the doctors in there and their office staff, although my primary doctor in their is Dr Falk who is awesome!
If Dr James Jew is on that list I highly recommend him.He is male, but wonderful!
I'm an extern for Goodman and Partridge and just from what I see everyday, they really take pride in their patients. They are quick, you can get same day appointments, you can bring your children with you, and they will do their best to squeeze you in even if you walk in. I've only been at two locations so far, Chandler and Gilbert. But, overall I think they are great.
Also, At the Gilbert location, they are all women.
Goodman and Partridge-I've only heard horror stories with labor and delivery but maybe with a procedure they would do better.
HI have used Comprehensive Women's Healthcare in Gilbert for about 10 years now and love them! Rosemary is the Nurse Pract. and is my absolute favorite! I used Dr. Hazelrigg for both my children and he was good....Hope that helps!
I absolutely would not recomend Goodman and Partridge in Chandler. I had a very bad experience there when I first moved here and was looking for an ob/gyn. I never met drs goodman or partridge after 6 visits, and was only seen by nurses. That was through an entire miscarriage. They also lost my chart twice, so no one knew what was going on with me. Bad continuation of care. Very poor office management. I now go to Dr. Mikel. I know you are hoping for a female dr. but if you change your mind... he is wonderful and so is his staff. Best of luck.
I personally recommend Contemporary Care for women in Gilbert. I have been going there for years and I love Dr. Tamanaha. I have used the female nurse practitioners also and they are also good. Very good office- never had a problem.
K. S- is that you?
toni here! Comp Women's Health Care- Michelle McElroy. I had the procedure done last October and she was awesome. I am VERY happy with the results and wish I would have done it 5 yrs ago... let me know if you have any questions.
Love ya
Goodman & Partridge used to be in Ahwatukee.
