My son will be turning 2 in October and I am looking for children for him to play with and adults for me to talk to.
I am looking for the same thing... I have a 27 month old boy and a 9 1/2 month old boy. Maybe we could all start one ourselves?

I have two daughters, ages 1 and 2. I started a playgroup this past January through Meetup.com. I was relatively new to GR as well. It's just called the Grand Rapids Playgroup Meetup Group. I charge $3 annually (after a one-month trial) just to cover the cost of the webhosting. It's a great group and we meet every Thursday at 10am at different parks and malls (depending on the weather). We have newborns through preschoolers!

I am also looking for a playgroup, I just moved back to the Grand Rapids area from Denver in May. I am veryt interested in meeting some other moms and their kids for some fun playgroup time. Since I see a lot of moms on here have responded to your posting have you and the other moms started something up? I would be interested. What part of Grand Rapids do you live in? I would also be interested in a play group. I have an almost 20 month old son and a 3 1/2 year old daughter.
I would love to be involved in a play group, too. My daughter will be 2 tomorrow and I have an 8 y.o. son as well.
