A friend of mine lives in Lemont and is looking for a midwife. I used West Suburban in Oak Park, and have recommended it to her, but was wondering if there were any other options out there that might be closer...

West Suburban Womens Health, Ltd. 545 Plainfield Rd. Willowbrook, IL ###-###-#### (baby). Hinsdale hospital is where they deliver. My friend had natural birth there for 48 hours, and they took the best care of her and the baby.
Shari and Linda are the two midwives there and your friend can also rotate between the 4 doctors. Dr. Susan Murrey delivered my 2 kids, she is Excellent!! This is a great practice, all the women there have families and really know what we go through as women. Best of Luck
I also used Shari and Patty (Shari was the one who caught the baby) from west suburban in Willowbrook. They are truly great. I was at the hospital for 31 hours. They even let my husband and my doula walk around outside. The midwives are awesome and the hospital staff was very nice and natural birth friendly. Their c-cection rate is about 25% which is far less then other hospitals. Good Luck
