Mamapedia isn't the place to advertise like this, if you had read the terms and conditions when you signed you, you should know this.
I'd try care.com or sitters.com.
Good luck.

I would try care.com. Check with your church. If you have a mothers day out program see if they know of anyone who is taking in kiddos. I would also ask the other nurses who have kids what their child care is. Maybe they know someone who is taking in kids.
We are here to help each other. I have no issues with this question.
O.,
This is a national forum. The likelihood of people knowing of day care in Stone Oak, or even what state Stone Oak is in, is very remote.
You'd be much better off with a local forum in your town, or a local caregiving service. Try the Y, the JCC, local parenting newspapers, etc.
I'm not sure why anyone would object to your question - it's fine and not against the rules - but it's not going to get you much in the way of responses because we are all spread out all over the country.
Good luck! We all know how frustrating it can be to get affordable and flexible care.
You can go to the state social services web site where they license child care businesses. They usually have a list of some sort of the licensed care providers and give you information on each one. They will have their hours of operation and level of care.
One thing. You do realize that in a HOME situation that the kids are left alone? The one care giver has to go pee or pooh, they go cook the meals, they go switch out their laundry, they answer the phone, they talk to other parents, and they can even take a nap with the kids are sleeping. I know there are quality women out there who provide excellent care but I'm not able to ever use a home situation. I have too many years in child care and know things can happen even when the teacher has their eyes on the kids.
I also want at least 2 teachers in the classroom at all times, back up staff to relieve them when they go on break or to lunch, if that person is sick they have a back up parson to take their place so YOU don't have to take the day off because your care giver is sick. I want checks and balances. When my kiddos are the safest.
Also, home providers will often set aside random days when they're going to be closed. Since they don't work with anyone else they just close and you are out of luck AND you still have to pay for the full week.
So please consider all this information and consider a full child care facility.
Google Texas licensed childcare. You should be able to search by your area for home based centers.
there's a button you can click before you post your question that will shoot it to people who can actually help you, ie those in your geographical region. i'm in MD. won't be much help to you.

Southern Yankee had some great ideas. I used to take my kids to a faith based Mom's Day Out program. Met some great stay at home Mom's there. If it were me, that would be the first place I'd check out. If whoever you find is agreeable, and she should be checked out if she's watching your child, the administrator of the Day Out program would likely know ALOT about that Mom. Good luck!!
