My family and I are new to the area. I've stayed at home with my son for the past seven months. Now I have job possibilty and am looking for a good place for my son to go during the day. Any ideas or suggestions?

MY 1 YEAR OLD ATTENDS THE HEB EARLY LEARNING CENTER ###-###-####, TALK TO OCTAVIA AND YOU CAN TELL HER PAM WHITE SENT YOU) OFF OF 183 & WESTPARK. SHE LOVES IT. THE STAFF THERE IS SO NICE AND THEY HAVE STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES EVERY DAY (FOR EXAMPLE YESTERDAY WAS ROLL THE BALL AND TODAY WAS BLOW BUBBLES)... YEAH A 7 MONTH OLD CANT EXACTLY DO THOSE THINGS BUT THEY TRY AND TEACH THEM. THEY INTERACT WITH THE CHILDREN NOT JUST LET THEM SIT AND PLAY WITH TOYS ALL DAY LONG. MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN TO 4 DAY CARES SINCE SHE WAS 6 WEEKS OLD AND THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST ONE I HAVE FOUND. GOOD LUCK IN THE SEARCH.

I'm friends with Christina White, so I can tell you she's great. She lives in Keller, and you won't find better care. However, if you're looking for wonderful care a little closer to HEB, I live in NRH, about 2 minutes from the Northeast Mall. I was waiting to hear from 2 teachers about enrolling their kids with me, but they're both staying home next year! Well, nothing beats being with mom. Anyway, now I have a few openings. I worked for HEBISD for four years as after school director, and have tons of other happy references. I am now staying home with my little boy. Let me know soon if you need me.
