Need Referrals for Childcare in Keller or Haltom City

I work in Haltom City but live in Keller. I need to find a good place for my sweet, energetic one year old son. I'd prefer in-home care until he's at least two. Please let me know if you have a trusted friend or relative or if you can reccommend a daycare facility. Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

After checking a couple of daycare centers and home care referrals we decided! We are going to try Kids R Kids in Keller. It's a really neat daycare and we think it will be the safest, most accountable place for our very active son. We'll see how it goes and i f it's the right place for us! Wishing all of you looking good luck- we know how hard it is!!

www.kellerchildcare.org
This is the Keller Childcare Association.
You never want to go with a "provider" who isn't Registered or Licensed.
The State Website is http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/Child_Care/Search_Texas_Child...
This should take you right to a form that you fill out the ages and area you are looking for.
Providers who are on the States website are monitored. We must adhere to a set of Minimum Standards. Many providers have much higher standards than these.
Good luck

Hi A.,
I have worked for HEBISD for four years as an after school program director. I also have experience in a day care center and as a nanny. I recently decided to stay home with my 10 month old son, and offer badly needed loving chilcare to teachers' children during the school year. I am registered with the state and am CPR/1st aid certified. I strive to keep a low ratio so that all children receive quality care. I still have one infant spot left if you are interested. I live in North Richland Hills, near Richland High School. If you'd like to set up an interview, call me at ###-###-####.

Hi A.,
My 20 Month old son goes to Camp Fire Child Development Center off of Meachum Rd in Haltom City / N. Fort Worth. He started there when I went back to work for 6 months before the birth of our second son. I was at home with Tyler for the first 13 Months of his life and wasnt crazy about the idea of daycare, but it increased his vocabulary, social skills, manners, eating (utensils and real cups) skills and he comes home with artwork at least twice a week. They have education accreditations better than Primrose and they fill the day with lots of activity, song and artistic play.

We love them so much that my son has continued to go there twice a week while I am out on maternity leave so that he can play with his friends. My other son will be starting in August at 3 months old.

Hugh is the director there and the number is 817- ###-###-####

Let me know if you have questions,

A.,

My children go to Children's Courtyard on N Beach in Haltom City. We LOVE it! Children's Courtyard offers cameras in each of the rooms that you can view from the internet. My children are older now, 4 & 9, but I would have loved to be able to watch EVERYTHING that went on with their progression everyday. I also had my girls in home day-care when they were younger than 3(preschool). So, as I have told my other friends that are new moms, just let your gut decide what is right for you and your baby. When you go into a center or a home, you will know immediately if it is not for you or your child. Don't second guess yourself!!

Good Luck, and listen to your gut/heart,
H.
