Looking for Friends

There's a great website called www.momsofga.com.

It's a site for all moms in the state, but Gwinnett county is very active. There are lots of events in this area and also in metro atlanta in general. The site is a forum where moms can turn to each other for advice and support. They also have local playdates, moms night out, family outings, etc. The group is very friendly and welcoming. It is free, so I'd recommend you give it a try.

I am also a SAHM with my first child and live in the 30044 area. My son is 2, but if you'd like to meet up sometime, do let me know. Thanks and goodluck!

Hey A. - I am the co-coordinator of a MOPS group in Lilburn. We don't have 'normal' meetings during the summer, but we do meet at the park and play on Mondays! If you want to be on our email list for when we have events and play dates you can mail me at ____@____.com. I'm 27 too (my b-day is in March), and I've got a five and a two year old. We have several babies that are just about your son's age. One of our little boys just turned one year old a few weeks ago. You can email me if you are interested. You can also look for another MOPS group closer to you by going to MOPS.org and putting in your area code. I'd love to have you join us, we are always looking for new friends. Plus it's a lot easier to meet the people in the group when we are having an informal 'meeting' at the park rather than our more structured meetings. Good luck!!

I am also a SAHM with a 9 month old son. I would love to have you come join me. I live in the Huntcliff subdivision which is just north of Discover Mills Mall in Lawrenceville. I am starting a playgroup beginning next week on Wednesday morning starting at 10:00am. We will be playing at our neighborhood park and then going swimming at our swimming pool.
