I go to Naperville Women's Health Care in Naperville - delivered both of our children at Edward and had a great experience both times. There are 3 doctors in the practice and one midwife. All of them are FABULOUS! Their office is right next to the hospital. Phone:###-###-####
Also wanted to say, I saw someone had an issue with Edward, but it is an INCREDIBLE hospital. It was a wonderful place to have our children. The staff is excellent and there was not one thing I had any issues with during or after delivery. My son was in NICU for a very short time and they were so great. We are lucky to have such a great hospital close by. I hope one day Edward has a hospital in Plainfield. The only thing I would say is, if there is a situation where your child needs special tests - and this is probably also the case with the woman who had to take her child to the ER - I would take my child to CDH or Children's Memorial if special testing is needed later on. (Some of the pediatric doctors from Children's work at CDH also.) We had to have some tests done for my youngest when she was 5 months old and when the films and reports made it to our doc at Children's he was really unhappy with them and said it would have been handled better had they been done at a children's hospital to begin with. We had to redo the tests at Children's Memorial and they went A LOT smoother doing them at a pediatric hospital instead of at an "adult" hospital.
Having said that, as for having your baby there, I personally would ONLY go to Edward to deliver. As for having tests done (if that ever is the case) I would go to Children's Memorial or CDH where they specifically work with kids.
