I'm looking for a Dr for my daughter on the east/northeast side of Cincy. I've tried Eastern Hills Pedia. and also Northeast Cincinnati Pedi. (took her there w/ a rash and the nurse spent 3min w/ us and said "eczema... go home and put lotion on her" and then her legs started to swell up she said it was hurting as well as itching. took her to the emergency room and they said there was no way it was eczema and gave me meds for her to take.).... so if anyone has any sugestions as to a good pediatrician please let me know.
I really like ESD Pediatrics in Milford. They are excellent and every doctor that I have seen has been very good. I especially like Dr. Drasnin. They have Saturday appts and a lot of information on their website. www.esdpeds.com.
We love Anderson Hills Pediatrics. They have two offices, one in Amelia on Ohio Pike between Merwin Ten Mile and Bach-Buxton Roads and the other is on Jager Ct right off of 5 Mile just off of I-275. I'm not sure exactly how far east you wanted to go, but I think the Eastern Hills Peds office is just up the road from Anderson Hills' office. I use Group Health Associates on 5 mile rd. We love Dr. Mumma. Usually when he is not available we have seen Dr Hickey too. My 3 year old knows them both by name and loves them both. Both are male just FYI. They are others in the practice, but these 2 are the only ones we have seen in the 3 years since Hunter has been born. Dr Mumma was recommended by someone I use to work with. When we saw the pediatric dentist for the 1st time in Jan. he saw that we were patients of Dr Mummas and he said he really liked him to and he was a very well loved dr. He had known him for years. Not sure exactly where you live, but we use Springdale-Mason Pediatrics. They are wonderful! They have night hours until 9:30 in Mason, and their Springdale office is open late during the week, and also until noon on Saturdays. There are many doctors in the practice, so you can always get in-even for emergency sick visits. Dr. Chirlin is our favorite, but we also like Dr. Leanza, Dr. Singerman, and Dr. Goodlander.
