Keeping Thin Breast Pads in Place in Bathing Suit Top

I have two bathing suits that have the thin breast pad in them. Every time I was them, they get out of place and I have to reposition them. It drives me crazy. Is there a way to keep them in place? Sewing would be difficult because I don't want it to appear on the outside of the bathing suit. Is there a tape I can use that would keep them in place but is waterproof? I don't sew or know anything about sewing or making clothes, so if you suggest an item, please be specific so I can find it at the store. I can't take them out completely because I get cold very quickly and I don't want my nipples to show through my suit.

What can I do next?

The solution is no pads. If you HAVE to have them, take the suit to a seamstress who can match the material and lightly tack them in.

There is nothing wrong or "bad" if a nipple gets perky.

Another option would be to get a patterned top where any temperature changes are not as noticeable.

Take the pads out...and get some waterproof band-aids for the nipples if they bother you.

I am with TF below though...nipples...I mean EVERYONE has them!

best!

You should be able to tack them at the corners with a small stitch. Use thread the same color as the bathing suit, and no one will be able to see it unless they have their face in your cleavage.

When did nipple bumps through fabric become unfashionable?
Men aren't ashamed to bare them whether they have breasts or not (and yes, some guys look big enough in that department you'd think they could breast feed).
I know there are shields and padding and some women put band aids over them but what makes nipple bumps such a bad thing?

Like Fuzzy said, only I'd tack them from the inside of the suit to the liner that holds them, instead of the front/outside of the suit.

And... wow. I'm a little surprised by some of the non-chalentness around this. I'm rather modest, (and a D cup) and would be mortified if I was head-lighting in front of my teen son and his friends. Yikes!

I don't really sew, either, but I do sometimes patch my boys' jeans :-)

In the sewing aisle, you should be able to find a product like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Thermoweb-Heatn-Ultra-Iron-On-Adhes...

You would place it between the two pieces of material you want to bond together and then use an iron to bond them.

It comes in large squares also, so you can cut it to size. It also comes in various weights and thicknesses, depending on the fabric you're working with.
