At the yogurt place by us they have a big container of water with cut up cucumber floating around in it. No skin.
It makes the water so refreshing. Very good.

Hi All,
I just made my own flavored water... with strawberries and mint from my garden and lots of ice. Oh my goodness was it good!
Who knew?
Have any of you done this yet? What was your favorite combinations?
My friend just posted on FB how she made a whole bunch of combinations and the strawberries and mint was all I had on hand...so I tried it and am SO glad I did! It has only been sitting in the fridge for about an hour or so and is already very yummy! Can't wait to try it in the morning!
Gotta love anything that will help with drinking water, right? Ha!
I just put lots of ice and then about 4 strawberries cut in half and 2 big sprigs of mint and then added water...all in a big mason jar with a lid!
So EASY! I feel dumb that I had yet to try it before now?!

I recommend removing the mint after about an hour or so. Mint will begin to taste bitter if you leave it too long.
I LOVE adding ripe (not still hard) peaches to my iced tea. SO good!
Sounds DE-LISH! I usually just put a quartered orange, lemon, or cucumber in mine.
I WILL try that combo, it sounds really refreshing AND healthy.
Mint water is one of my favorites!
I need to grow some mint somewhere - but I need a spot for it where it won't go crazy (or I don't care if it goes crazy).
I love it but it's SUCH an invasive plant.
I've got a drainage ditch that might work well for it but the farmer who owns the soybean field next to it might not be happy if it creeps over there.
I've got too many plants in containers already.
That sounds yummy...how did you make yours?
Yes I make that a lot.
We have strawberries/mint in our garden too.
Pineapple is also good. Fresh pineapple.
Any fresh fruit will work, and with the mint.
Also I use Spearmint, or Basil.
Lavender too.
