I keep seeing these JFF and some of them are fun just to read and some to answer.
I was doing my hair this morning and thought Drat! I don't have any hairspray which I usually buy faithfully in the summer months but have been doing without this summer, so I started to think what two things can I not do without in the summer and narrowed it down to these two things! What's Yours?

1) Sunglasses
2) Sunblock/ bug spray (OFF)

OKAY, technically thats three so feel free to post three! lol

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

That was fun! I didnt even think to list air conditioner! like someone said that was a given for me! lol I like the answers of ice tea, shower, and good book, I just picked up 50 shades of Gray to see what all the hype is about! DH took the kids out in the yard last night and I was so happy he was taking them and not me that I didnt think about the sunblock or bug spray. Poor babies came in scratching like crazy! they love my DD legs and she has about 6-8 bites between both legs, DS has two large bumps on his forehead and no telling where else! Dropped the ball on that one so yes bug spray (OFF) is a must! and now I have to add hydocortizone, calamin lotion, & benedryl to the list!

1) Air conditioning
2) Sweaters

I know, I know... It's a major contradiction. Let me explain.

It is usually around 80-85 degrees outside around here this summer
I like the apartment around 70-75 degrees (Hence the air conditioner)
My husband likes the apartment around 60-65 degrees (Hence the sweater)

See? There is logic behind my maddness!

I can't even communicate how jealous I am of someone who would need a sweater. I won't be wearing a sweater for 4 months, probably longer. Sigh.

I consider air conditioning in hot weather a given, so here are my two things I cannot live without no matter the time of year:
1)sunglasses (ever since I had Lasik about 15 years ago, I cannot be without sunglasses even on overcast days.)
2)house slippers ( I cannot stand to be barefooted unless I am outside in the heat, so I usually always have house slippers on my feet all four seasons. Sometimes even with socks, always with socks in winter!

I always need my sunglasses, as my eyes are pretty sensitive to light.

1. Caps and hats to protect my hair from the sun.
2. Extra conditioner, so the sun can help me to "treat" my hair.
