Is There a Group That Meet's in Garland?

I too haven't found any other moms to hang around. I try to walk at the park to get exercise and let my little girl play too, but yesterday we went to the spray park in Rockwall and had a blast.

I've been wondering the same thing! I'm 22 and have twin 17 month old boys. Most of my friends don't have kids so I get kind of left out on things they do. I need to make friends with other mom's!

I was wondering the same thing. I'm in N. Garland and haven't found any moms around here to meet up with for playdates, outings, etc. I know there is a moms club of Garland but most of the activites take place in S. Garland which is a little far for me.

East Dallas Area Moms at Yahoo groups is the one I am in.....has families in east Dallas, Garland, Mesquite, Rowlett, Terrell, Forney etc....from babies to teens....

I would like to find a way to meet other parents with children around my kids age, too. I am a 38 year old single mom with three children of my own and my nephew is also staying with me for a while. Their ages are 17, 16, 15 and 6. My 17 year old is a Junior at South Garland H.S., my daughter and nephew are both freshmen there. My six year old is going to Heatherglen. Let me know if you would like to get together or if you find a group that meets in Garland.

When I first moved to Richardson in 1989, the Richardson Pre-school PTA was a life saver. While, it is associated with the National PTA, you did not have to have children enrolled in any school to participate in this group of moms with preschooler (and older) kiddos. I'm new to this whole mamasource, its amazed me how well this all works. I've asked three very different questions and had tons of great responces!

For so many women in our unit it is simply a great way to meet other sharp women out there. Several of which have children just like you! But I'd love to have you as a guest to one of our events! You'll meet several new women, be pampered with the number one brand, and who knows, maybe decide to join for the sisterhood itself.

It also is a great outlet for mom's too! I know it is for me! In fact I looked forward to our meeting last night all week long. Its kind of what kept me going this week... I have a two year old that takes a lot of my time and energy but Mary Kay is a great thing for me, and an amazing thing for my daughter! Growing up Pink is what we call children in a Mary Kay home and they are children of integrity!

It isn't a childs play date opportunity but still well worth looking into, mothers need some adult time too and this has been n amazing opportunity for me and blessed my family SOO much along the way, more then just financially!
