Information About Parking near Midway

My husband, son and I are going to be flying out of midway this Saturday. We were wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to where we can park. We will be gone 6 days and don't want it to cost an arm and a leg. If you have any information or suggestions we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks :)

EDIT...

Guess I should have mentioned that we live about an hour to hour and 15 away from the Airport. So taking a cab would be pretty pricey.

What can I do next?

I like this place:

You can valet and it is still cheaper than the midway parking. Park yourself and it is even cheaper. We have never had a problem with this place.

Thanks!

In the past we used the off site parking companies that are scattered around the midway area. Our children at the time were both under 4. We eventually decided that the trouble of dealing with two children and the shuttle bus was not worth it (in part we did not have two transportable car seats) and we have used Midway's long term parking ever since.

Do you have anyone that can take you to the airport? If not, take a cab. Much cheaper than paying to park, even in remote. And honestly the last thing you'll want to do when you get back from your trip is schlep all of your stuff and your son in cold weather to the remote parking. It's brutal!! And it's still expensive anyway. Take a cab and make it easy! And when you leave Midway, cabs line up out front so catching one takes zero time at all.

A couple years ago we parked at an economy lot just north of the airport off of 55th Street and Cicero. It was $14 a day I think. You take a bus from the lot to the airport, but it's only a couple minutes away. Much more convenient than the parking at Ohare.

I always use Park Ride Fly USA. It's a remote lot five minutes from the terminal and a shuttle takes you there. It's quick and convenient, and the rates are the lowest I found. I've used them for a few years now, and have never had a problem. I have three kids too, one in a infant seat, and it's never been a problem transporting us to and from the airport.
