I cannot find any baby socks that stay on for my 6month old twins. I've tried countless brands and none have worked. Anyone know of a good brand?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

thanks for all the tips. I think I'll try ankle sodcks instead of the fold down socks which I've been trying.

My son, now almost 10, always kicked his socks off. They never stayed on. Even when he was a newborn and we had him swaddled he would always kick his foot or both out. To this day he comes in after school and takes his shoes and socks off. Always had to be barefoot! Should have known then....

My son has 'pillow top' feet... seriously.. I cannot find any shoes to accomodate the pad of fat on the top of his foot. So we end up wearing socks a LOT. The only ones that stretch well in all directions, yet stay put for us, is the Old Navy ankle socks.

I have found that the ones from Baby Gap stay on pretty well, but more so when they are in a bigger size. Actually what I have found with my third, is that when he wears his big brother just grown out of socks, he has a hard time pulling them off, and they don't kick off either.

They're a little pricier, but the ones that Hannah Andersson makes stay put. I haven't tried the baby sizes, but the Old Navy ones stay on my 2-year old really well.

Hi S.~
I had the same problem with my daughter who is now 1. I tried out Carters brand socks and they worked great. The packs I got were from Kohls & Penneys. They have an elastic-like band around the cuff where you fold it, and that keeps them in place all day long!!
Hope this helps.

I bought Carters "kick proof" socks (actual name) at Kohls for my 4 mo. old and they do stay on very well!

We use the socks that come in a bag of 6 at Target...not the ones that fold down, but the ones that are ankle socks. They come with or without padded soles. We always use white so that matching them after washing is easy. And, if some get lost we still have matching pairs. As another mom said, once they are too small, they don't stay on.

Old Navy ankle socks. I had them for my 1st son and now my second uses them. They are great.
