In the Sachse Area, Can You Please Tell Me Which Is the Best Deal for Electric ?

I have been with Txu for the past 2 years and now its time to renew our contract. I
d like to know if there are others that are cheaper. Txu has good service very little outage in the past two years and our highest bill in two years was 336.00 ???

I'm not sure if they service you, but we're with CoServ. They serve the rural communities. Co-Serve is a co-op, and we've been VERY pleased with their prices and service. During the hot summer months, the highest our bill ever got on a 2400 square foot/1-story home was $250. And that's when it was almost 110 degrees! Our gas is also with a co-op - Grayson-County Electric. They're both great!

We are in Allen. We switched to Reliant a long time ago when the laws changed. We had TXU and we were never unhappy with them, we were just intrigued with the "savings" Reliant said they could provide. We've been with Reliant ever since.

This past year, our bill for our 4000+ sq ft home was never over $400. We are not penny pinchers when it comes to staying cool or warm either. I run my washer/drayer at least once a day and dishwasher 1-2 times a day. We are a family of 3.

I believe insulation installation last year and the complete redo of our furnace, heating, air etc about 3 yrs ago really helped. Our highest bill ever was just under $700 about 3 yrs ago.

I live in the Sachse area and use CIRRO Energy. I haven't had any issues with the service. I live in a 3,800 sq. ft. home and my highest bill in the past year has been about $350.

Morning G.,

I can tell you where not to go...Stream Energy (ignite). This company offered you great deals but when it come to renewing your time with them they never won't give you a heads up about it, as well after your time is up they raised your kph up to their highest just because you are not on their budget billing. We are now with Green Mountain and I haven’t had any problem, if anything our electric went down about 75 dollars but, I figure with any electric company they are out for the money and are going to compete with the rest to get you the best deal, on up till your anniversary date. Then you will be in the same boat. They say budget billing is better but what about in some months it will be cheaper or if the electric goes down in some months then either way you are still paying too much. So far Green Mountain is showing to be a good company as well as helping the earth. Good Luck in what ever you choose,
